The envelope is too thick to see through to the letter. Your hands are shaking--it could be a trap. Do you really want to know the truth; about what lies scribbled on that otherwise harmless peice of paper? Carefully, your fingers move to the edge of the seal, and slowly, carefully, you open--

Woah, wait. You didn't roll any successes?

Oh... In that case...

The envelope flies out of your hands and across your throat, given you a nasty paper cut. As you lay there, your lifeblood gushing from your wound, you look over and see that the envelope is laying next to you just out of reach... Still unopened.

Welcome to Bringing Crazy Back, where the children are glowy, reality is easy to destroy, and the same jokes are done to death over and over.

It begins with the sinking of a mysterious city thousands of years ago. Events were set into motion, and the gears of the universe shifted in and out of place. Half-a-dozen millennia later, a group of unwitting adventurers, killers, psychopaths, and alcoholics have banded together to fight against (or on bad days, get captured by) the evil forces that have been set in motion. Will they succeed to keep hope alive and make the world a better place? Or will they fall to the very darkness that they're attempting to defeat? Will Cheshire ever actually own a car of her own? Will Gavryal ever confess his undying stalkerish love to his roommate? Will Morgan ever figure out the finer points of logical negotiation? Will Trabant ever be something other than a punching bag? Will Lirael ever show up to another session? Will schoolwork forever kill Marduke's chances of being around? Will Deirdre ever use the power to turn into a bat for anything practical? Will Flannan ever stop being punished for stuff she didn't do? Will Zack and Jack ever actually be good either hacking or interrogating? Will Sergei ever become emotionally competent enough to win the heart of a raging alcoholic? Will Bolthy ever make a villain who can best the Duke? Will the group ever manage to solve the problem of Goldbar being the single largest nexis of power in the entire damn world?
